Emergency services rushed to Hamilton Court in the Calside area of the town, at around 12.20pm today after the horror incident.
The driver of a bus which crashed into a block of flats in Paisley this afternoon has been rushed to hospital.
A spokesperson for McGill's Buses said that it was "too early to know what caused the accident" but confirmed personnel from the company have attended the scene and are working with police. "At this stage it is too early to know what caused the accident but McGill's personnel have been in attendance and are working with police on the post-incident investigation and will continue to do so in the days ahead."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 12:25 to attend an incident in Calside, Paisley. A range of resources including ambulances, special operations response teams, a trauma team and a critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene."
