No one was injured in the crash, said Milltown Mayor Trina Mehr.
The porch of a home on the 100 block of Main Street in Milltown was destroyed by a car early Saturday morning, according to resident Je-Ree Olenik.Everyone was sleeping when a car destroyed the front porch of Je-Ree Olenik’s home early Saturday morning, she told NJ Advance Media.“We felt the house move,” Olenik said Sunday.
She was also asleep when she heard “the loud commotion” of units responding a half-block away, the mayor said. “The mayor, who lives down the street, came over and provided us and the first responders with some Dunkin’ Donuts because we were out there so long … so that was very nice. She and the first responders were all great,” Olenik said. “We’re just glad everyone’s fine.”
