They came up to a Kia peeling its tires in the mud, with the driver soon extracting the car despite police orders to cease and get out. As he pulled away, officers ran back to their cruiser and began a brief pursuit that included traveling about 45 mph around Lander Circle before the driver, identified as a Bedford man 25, stopped near I-271.
Pepper Pike officers contacted Orange police and provided a license plate number for the car that just kept going. They also warned the driver that he ran a stop sign.After stopping a car for a marked lanes violation at 3 a.m. Oct. 7, police found an elderly couple inside who were listed as missing from Bellefonte, Pa., located 250 miles away near State College. They were taken to the police station and later picked up by family members.
