A dump truck struck the overpass early Wednesday morning, causing concrete to tumble to the pavement below.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office says CR214 east and westbound lanes will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.“As is procedure, FOT bridge crews will complete their inspection and reopen lanes based on conditions. Safety is the number one priority of FDOT and we appreciate motorists understanding and patience.”, said FDOT spokesman Hampton Ray.
