Drivers under the age of 70 must renew their photocards every 10 years, and you should receive a reminder before your current licence is due to expire. It costs £14 to renew your drivers' licence online, and you can renew your provisional in this way as well.If you don't want to apply online, you can also apply via post or at a Post Office, and the full details of how to do this can be found on the gov.uk website.
Richard Evans, head of technical services at webuyanycar commented: "To drive anywhere legally, you must hold a valid driving licence which has the most up to date and correct details of your name, date of birth and full address. If you know your license is about to expire, or your personal details have changed, it’s crucial you update your licence.
