Joining forces with NHS Lanarkshire, the organisation has stepped in to help locals get into work.
The Department for Work and Pensions has arranged for North Lanarkshire residents to take part in a four-week work placement at Monklands and Wishaw General hospitals.The DWP has also highlighted the increase in people aged 50 and over finding jobs as there has been a five per cent decrease in unemployment in that age bracket year-on-year.
