Eamonn Holmes has given a rather telling response to the news that his former colleague Phillip Schofield is set for a dramatic return to television. The 64 year old broadcaster, who's been quite outspoken about his disdain for Phil, 62, didn't hold back when Schofield left This Morning amidst a scandal involving an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague.
Now, with Phillip set to make a TV comeback on Channel 5's Cast Away, Eamonn hasn't shied away from showing his true feelings, hinting at the ongoing tension between them. The announcement stirred up quite the reaction on GB News' breakfast show. She continued, "I don't want to know his story, I'm not interested in it. I know that he's a celeb and people do seem to lap up any news, whether it's good or bad but I think it's time maybe he stayed on the island."
