East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy has revealed he has his sights set on a new striker to help fire the club to glory next season.
Kennedy, whose side return for pre-season training this weekend, told the News : “We are looking to bring in a centre-forward, a central midfielder and another defender. “I thought the fact we didn’t get up to League Two was going to be a bit of an issue, but he has enjoyed his football so much and he feels settled here, so that made his decision easier.
Meanwhile, Kilby confirmed the departure of winger Adam McGowan to Lowland League rivals Tranent. The former Hamilton Accies man moved to the East Lothian side last week after Broque Watson went in the opposite direction and Kennedy admits there will be more departures to come. “Camie Eadie has just agreed a deal to go to Johnstone Burgh so that is one on the way out and that was done on Monday.
