Kennedy hopes lightning strikes twice, having knocked the Dons out of the Scottish Cup with Darvel
East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy is dreaming of lightning striking twice against Aberdeen on Saturday but says his side will play their own game, regardless.
He said: “It’s two cracking games this week, two different styles of play, so that will impose different challenges, and then it’s my old friends Aberdeen on Saturday!“What we’ve done in the last few games against teams higher up, and what I did with my Darvel team, is we’ll try to stick to our own game-plan and style.
“It looks like Aberdeen went pretty strong against Queen of the South on Saturday , so I’m sure that will be a really challenging game. Kilby have been handed a clash at home to Civil Service Strollers at K-Park to kick off the Lowland League season on July 24, followed by trips to Cumbernauld Colts and Broomhill.He said: “I’m happy to get Civil at home.
