A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly
A warning has been issued by East Midlands Airport police to travellers after a man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly. People are being reminded to fly responsibly as the airport prepares to face the start of the 2024 holiday season.
Passengers could also face a £80,000 diversion fee if they cause a mid-air incident, or be banned from flying altogether if they cause a flight to be cancelled. On Tuesday, March 19, East Midlands Airport police encountered a 22-year-old man who had overindulged before he arrived at the airport.
