Former EastEnders favourite Cheryl Fergison has said she's 'not shocked' by waiting time figures after 24 hours of misery in a Lancashire hospital.
Cheryl, 58, is known for portraying Heather Trott on EastEnders from 2007 to 2012. She returned to the BBC flagship soap again in 2016.She had to undergo treatment at six-hour intervals after being rushed to the seaside hospital with an infection, and ended up spending 24 painful hours on a ward. Now home and on the road to recovery, she told the Mirror : "From my experience I am not shocked at the figures that have been quoted on waiting times in A&E and its increase over the years.
