EastEnders star Shona McGarty is leaving the BBC soap after 15 years as Whitney Dean, and to mark the occasion threw a disco-themed leaving party with her co-stars
Shona McGarty, who has played the role of Whitney Dean on EastEnders for 15 years, is saying a fond farewell to the BBC soap. To mark the end of an era, the actress threw a raucous leaving do as she partied alongside her soap co-stars as they sang karaoke and danced the night away.
In one snap, the soap stars posed together with Shona looking stunning in a retro electric blue glittered jumpsuit and a pair of platform heels. Her dark locks were styled down in a bouncy blow-dry and she could be seen holding a bundle of leaving gifts and cards under one arm. In other snaps, Shona's co-stars could be seen busting some moves on the dance floor, sipping drinks and taking on karaoke. Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell on the soap, was in the midst of the dancing as she donned a pair of silver boots, a skirt, an oversized t-shirt and a black blazer.
