ECB sticks with plan to leave policy unchanged through at least year end
The European Central Bank, as expected, made no changes Thursday to interest rates or other monetary policy measures. The ECB left its main lending rate at 0% and the deposit rate, which it pays on deposits parked overnight at the central bank, at negative 0.4%. The ECB also repeated that it plans to keep rates at their current level at least through the end of this year.
