No, it's Eddie the Eagle, who is due to crash land into Rossendale next week. The English ski jumper and Olympian will join in the 50th birthday celebrations at Ski Rossendale on Saturday, June 10.
Celebrations will start at 10am at Ski Rossendale on Haslingden Old Road. Bringing a slice of the Alps to Lancashire, the centre is set in the picturesque valley and is the premier outdoor ski and snowboarding centre in the UK. "Eddie the Eagle will be joining us to celebrate 50 years with us! Join us on Saturday 10th June from 10am for a day full of celebrations."
Rossendale Drum Majorettes, who will be performing at the event wrote: "We look forward to supporting your fantastic event! Happy 50th Anniversary Ski Rossendale."
