Craig Ferrier, 22, who was signed with Edinburgh United, hid drugs behind access hatch in his bathroom wall.
A footballer was snared with nearly £60,000 of cocaine and heroin stashed in his home after a police raid. Craig Ferrier was caught with a haul of drugs concealed behind an access hatch in his bathroom wall.
In April, the club announced Ferrier had been signed for the 2023/24 season. He had joined the team last year after previously playing for Leith Athletic. Only a month later, police swooped on his address and arrested him. Another bag was found during the search which contained 51.91g of cocaine, he added, which was valued at £4160. A bag containing heroin was also found behind the access hatch. Mr Price said that contained 244.6g of the Class A drug which could realise a street value of £12,230.
He pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin from his Edinburgh home on May 17. He also admitted being concerned in the supply of the same drugs on May 1 2021 when the car was searched.
