The wife of the notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman is making waves in a music video inspired by her life. And the song is performed by none other than her husband's lawyer.
Instagram During a candid chat on Univision, an American Spanish-language television network, Coronel divulged details about her participation in the music project. She said: "I heard it when they were writing it, the whole song, every part it says, is important to me. It talks about me and everything that has happened in my life.
The release of this song comes at a time when her husband's Sinaloa Cartel faces a crisis. In July, El Chapo's former right-hand man Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada was arrested in El Paso, Texas, with Joaquin Guzman Lopez, one of El Chapo's sons. The two were affiliated with rival factions within the Sinaloa Cartel.
