Sunak made the claim 11 times during last night's TV debate
Deputy SNP leader Keith Brown has been asked if his party would work with Labour, after Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves said that her party would be open to the idea. He told Sky News: 'The SNP is always trying to work. I was in government for 10 years; we worked with Labour governments, we worked with the Cameron government relatively effectively.
' He added, however, that the Scottish Government will 'try to work for the benefit of the people of Scotland' with the party in power in Westminster. 'But we know the limitations of that and that's why we think it is far better that decisions being made in Scotland are made by the people of Scotland for Scotland, and that's why we want to be independent. 'If they can respect our position, then we can respect their position.
