EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Come Dancing champ Ellie Leach has been left 'upset' over accusations that her romance with Bobby Brazier is 'fake' and a ploy to raise their profiles
Just days after appearing on the red carpet together at the Hadestown musical press night, Ellie Leach and Bobby Brazier have been hit with claims that their relationship is "fake" and is purely a "PR stunt."
The pair have been snapped more than once looking like any loved-up young couple – but some fans have been left sceptical of the pair’s romance, some even accusing the stars of using the rumours to raise their profiles, while accusing them of actually "faking" their relationship. Online comments have included accusations that Ellie and Bobby are using a "PR machine" to get more career opportunities.
"They’re trying to keep things under wraps, get to know each other and just have fun. But these comments – including how it could be a ‘showmance’ like with Vito or that it’s fake – are causing pain." He told OK!, "Ellie and Bobby will no doubt have spent a lot of time together rehearsing for Strictly and also while on tour. Situations like that are often like an intense pressure cooker so it’s no surprise they’ve gravitated towards one another. They’re both young, very successful and famous in their own right."
While neither Ellie nor Bobby have directly confirmed their relationship, they recently appeared on the red carpet alongside one another as they enjoyed a romantic date night at the theatre for the new musical Hadestown. And they certainly looked love-up, as they grinned ear-to-ear while posing for snaps at the event.
