Cops investigating after protesters allegedly urinated on Canadian monuments
Elon Musk appears to have thrown his support behind the Canadian truckers leading massive anti-vaccine-mandate protests in the country’s capital – as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday slammed protestors who urinated on the National War Memorial and brandished swastika flags.alongside a photo of freight vehicles creating gridlock on a highway.that “Canadian truckers rule” and “freedom is being stripped away one piece at a time until it is gone.
Thousands of people called the Freedom Convoy 2022 traveled to Ottawa on January 29, 2022, to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.“I want to be very clear: We’re not intimidated by those who hurl abuse at small business workers and steal food from the homeless. We won’t give in to those who fly racist flags. And we won’t cave to those who engage in vandalism, or dishonor the memory of our veterans,” Trudeau wrote.
Some demonstrators — mostly made up of the huge convoy of truckers and their supporters — were also spotted carrying signs and flags with swastikas through the streets. Trucks are parked on Metcalfe Street as a rally against COVID-19 restrictions, which began as a cross-country convoy protesting a federal vaccine mandate for truckers.The truckers and others are protesting a new rule that took effect Jan. 15 requiring rig operators entering Canada to be fully vaccinated against COVID.
