Emergency services rushed to a Scots riverbank on Saturday after a woman got into difficulty trying to retrieve her pet dog.
Edinburgh Live reports that it has been suggested she fell trying to get her pooch out of the same spot, on the banks of the River Esk. It said: "Someone is in difficulty on the River Esk banking. There is a LOT of emergency services activity around the Sun Inn. A woman walking her dog took a wrong turn and came to a very steep embankment her dog fell over a 6ft edge and she couldn't retrieve the dog."
