The new album is sonically explorative, examining new musical territory while staying rooted in the traditions of hardcore and punk music. This diverse approach is fueled by the band’s formative days cutting their teeth in the punk scene of Louisville, and requires creative input from every member.. “It wouldn’t be the same without one of us. Now that the band has graduated from being labeled one to watch in the genre -- thanks in large part to its 2016 debut album-- its members are still reeling from the positive response their follow-up has generated. “The reception of the new record has been absolutely incredible," Hale adds. “It’s honestly blown me away. “If I’m not making music while I’m at home, then I’m going crazy while not doing it,” Hale says. “I try to be productive with music as much as possible while I’m at home. Constantly writing. Going to shows. Listening. I have a couple bands and projects that I write and play for with friends. Literally everything I do revolves around it, and I couldn’t be happier that that’s the case. I hope that’s how it always is.”“Knocked Loose has always taken things in stride.
