Montana voters say they favor former President Donald Trump at 49% in a hypothetical match with President Joe Biden, who is supported by 28%, according to a new Emerson College poll."Voters split their ticket on the U.S. Senate and presidential elections in 2024," said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling. "12% of Trump voters plan to split their ticket and vote Tester for Senate. This is driven by Tester's support among independents and women voters.
The survey, conducted Oct. 1-4, polled 447 Montana voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.6%.
