Emma Raducanu has not played since she was forced to retire from her Seoul quarter-final over a month ago due to a foot injury
It was confirmed on Tuesday that the world No.55 had exited the forthcoming Hong Kong Open due to a persistent foot injury, which also compelled her to retire from her Korea Open quarter-final over a month ago. Hours following the announcement of her withdrawal, Raducanu reached out to fans via social media."Whilst my foot is making good progress, I need a little more time before I am match fit.
With the Billie Jean King Cup Finals pitting Team GB against Germany on November 15, Raducanu has just over three weeks to get prepared. Alongside Raducanu in the national squad are teammates Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Heather Watson, and Olivia Nicholls.
