We can't wait to get a better look at EmmaStone's ring!
! The low-key couple — who started dating around Oct. 2017 — announced their engagement on Dec. 4 via McCary's Instagram account. In the photo, the pair are both smiling broadly and look blissfully happy, but we couldn't help but focus on Stone's sparkling diamond ring, which is posed front and center in the shot.
There haven't been any public sightings of the ring yet , and the ring is out of focus in the photo, but this is what we know so far. The ring appears to have either a white gold or platinum setting, and the band itself is very delicate. This means the large, round-cut, pearlescent-looking stone sitting pretty in the middle shines even brighter. The stone is surrounded by smaller round diamonds, and the band is encrusted with even smaller pavé diamonds on either side.
We can't wait to find out whether Stone and McCary opted for a gorgeous pearl engagement ring as it appears in the photo, or whether it's a big, gorgeous diamond. But one thing's for sure: Stone's ring was always going to be an elegant combination of classic and modern styles.
