The Emmaus Megastore is relocating to Preston city centre
The Megastore in Brookfield Street will close on Saturday before the new Emmaus MIDI Store opens in Lowthian Street on Saturday 8 July.
The new store will be accessed through the same entrance as Iceland next to Preston Markets, and located in what was Steals.Photographer’s image of homelessness charity that supported him goes on display in Preston rough sleeping hotspot An Emmaus spokesperson said: “We’ll continue providing with the same brilliant one-off Emmaus finds: sofas, three-piece suites, beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers, dressing tables, dining tables, chairs, gym equipment, mirrors, pictures, books, and exciting one-off vintage and retro items.
“We’ll also keep providing brand new beds, new mattresses, new sofas and new kitchen appliances, such as washing machines, fridges and freezers.Opening hours will remain the same as the Megastore: Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. The charity will continue to make collections of donated furniture free of charge, and deliveries will be made as usual.
