The news comes just weeks after fans bid farewell to Jacob's father David Metcalfe and hints at a potential heartbreaking split on the cards.
But now it appears there's drama brewing with his girlfriend Victoria Sugden too, that could lead to a breakup. If they do part ways, will Jacob reconsider his ties to the village and make a life-changing decision? Jacob's mum, Leyla Harding, is also in the dark about the placement and is left puzzled when she learns about it and lambasts his decision to reject it. Victoria however, feels awkward as she reveals to Leyla that Jacob has turned it down to stay close to her, reports the Mirror.
