Waller-Bridge returned to the stage moments later to collect her comedy actress Emmy and made it a point to thank her "acting" agents, a point she was careful to designate.
Annabel Jones and Charlie Booker, accepting the Emmy for best TV movie/mini , also did not namecheck anyone from their former agencies. Jesse Armstrong took home his first Emmy, for writing HBO breakout, and also skipped the WGA-ATA of it all.
