Tributes have been paid to a student and talented hockey player after her 'tragic' death in the 'van and knife attack' in Nottingham. Grace Kumar was one of the two University of Nottingham students who were tragically killed at 4am on Tuesday, June 13, in Ilkeston Road, along with friend Barnaby Webber - both were just 19.
Emotional messages are now pouring in for Grace, who was a talented hockey player and had represented her country at youth level. England Hockey said: "We are all deeply saddened by the news of the tragic death of Grace Kumar in the major incident in Nottingham on Tuesday"Grace represented England in the U16 and U18 squads while also playing for Southgate HC, Old Loughtonians HC, and the University of Nottingham HC.
