We chat with MurderMystery2 star Enrique Arce about working with comedy legends Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston and making people laugh at his character:
In Murder Mystery 2, Nick and Audrey Spitz have made a career change, leaping to full-time private detectives, although they are struggling to get their agency off the ground. Their close friend, the Maharaja, whom they met in the previous movie, invites them to his wedding. However, when he is kidnapped, Audrey and Nick are once again the prime suspects in an international crime, which they need to solve quickly in order to clear their names and save their friend.
Enrique Arce on Murder Mystery 2 Screen Rant: Enrique, Murder Mystery 2 is fantastic. It ups everything I loved about Murder Mystery, the action, the comedy, the romance all on point. You're a big part of that romance part of it. Francisco, he's suave. He's a legendary footballer. Talk to me a little bit about Francisco.
And that was the thing, but they made it so easy after the first day after rehearsal and that's their greatness. They make you feel like you are at the same level. That's a success with the actors that are not them in the movies that they have done. I'm sure that they felt the same confidence granted by them that I felt.
Enrique Arce: I think there was one moment where I connected. I was very nervous at the beginning. Fortunately, my scenes with them were later in the film, where I had already built some rapport. I was already owning the character. But I remember the first couple of days I was so nervous man. But they make you feel that you are as good as them. That's on them.
