Piers Morgan has labelled Erik ten Hag a "complete idiot" in an extraordinary outburst against the Manchester United manager.
Speaking to Ally McCoist and Gabby Agbonlahor on talkSPORT, Morgan started his heated tirade by lauding Ronaldo for his recent performances on the international stage. However, it quickly descended into a verbal attack where he also claimed that United have "no hope" of reaching the top four under their current boss.
The former Britain's Got Talent judge, whose infamous interview with Ronaldo in November 2022 effectively sparked the Portugal star's Old Trafford departure, added: "Ten Hag is everything Ronaldo told me he was in that interview that led to him leaving United." "I can't believe I'm saying this, as it's a miracle, but United have got worse than they were last season and there are two hopes for United of getting the top four this season - no hope and Bob Hope, and Bob Hope's been dead about 20 years."
