The manhunt for the Chester County Prison escapee, called 'extremely dangerous,' has closed two school districts.
Also close to the prison,Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said: “That pressure we put on him is working. We squeezed him hard enough in a period of a few days where he couldn’t get some relief, and he squeezed out. I wished we could’ve got him, but it’s a large, dark area, with difficult terrain.”
Resources from the FBI and U.S. Border Patrol are being added to the already sizable force that have amassed in southern Chester County. The original, two-mile search perimeter has shifted further south, Bivens said, in light of the recent sightings.The pictures from the trail cameras show Cavalcante with a backpack, duffel bag and hooded sweatshirt.
The other two sightings, Bivens said Monday, were not made on video, but authorities believe they’re credible. The district attorney’s office said Cavalcante has curly black hair and a closely cropped beard and mustache.
