Land of Women is the latest project starring Eva Longoria that proves that she is one of Hollywood's most booked and busy stars. After her directorial debut this year in Flamin' Hot and hosting duties on Eva Longoria : Searching for Mexico, the 48-year-old former Desperate Housewives star will star in this new drama, which is based on Sandra Barneda's bestselling novel of the same name.

The official synopsis for Land of Women via Apple TV+ reads: 'Land of Women is a dramedy starring Longoria as Gala, a New York empty nester whose life is turned upside down when her husband implicates the family in financial improprieties, and she is forced to flee the city alongside her ageing mother and college-age daughter.
