Evacuating disabled people from Kincade fire with power out, winds howling
The Pleasant fire in Lafayette burned both sides of Highway 24. A second fire nearby was in the southern part of Martinez.
Several youths who live at a treatment center were also hunkered down at the Petaluma Veterans Hall following evacuation orders.
