Everton have been linked with a move for Jan-Niklas Beste but what might the winger potentially offer Sean Dyche’s side?
If Beste does decide to take the plunge and come to Merseyside, his individual style is quite different to players currently operating in his position in the Premier League. Comparisonator’s Similarity Comparison calculates Newcastle United’s Miguel Almiron as being the closest match to him at 63% followed by Fulham’s Bobby De Cordova-Reid and then Brighton & Hove Albion’s Kaoru Mitoma .
Only Brennan Johnson of Tottenham Hotspur can top Beste’s 0.39 assists per 90 minutes and he would also be second for expected assists behind Son . He has a 22% success rate for scoring shots, which can only be topped by Man City’s Phil Foden ; Aston Villa’s John McGinn and Arsenal's Leandro Trossard , and would be ranked sixth for shots on target with 50% - a category topped by Burnley’s Jacob Bruun Larsen on 63% - and ninth for opportunities converted as second led by Foden on 0.73.
