Chris Beesley rates the Blues after the Merseyside derby at Anfield
Everton suffered a controversial 2-0 defeat in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime.
Ashley Young was sent off in the first half and for spells of the game the Blues looked like clinging on to a 0-0 draw. However, the Reds were awarded a penalty after a handball by Michael Keane, which was converted by Mohamed Salah. The Blues were left fuming before that strike though, as Ibrahima Konate somehow escaped a second yellow card after bundling over Beto on the counter.Chris Beesley was on hand to rate the players as the Blues battled well to no avail.
