Connor Gibson, 20, is charged with the sexual assault and murder of the teenager at Cadzow Glen, on Friday, November 26, 2021.Corrigan is accused of a breach of the peace and attempting to defeat the ends of justice including claims he found Amber's dead body, inappropriately touched her and hid her body under bushes and branches.
Prosecutor Richard Goddard KC will be first to address jurors on Monday morning followed by Gibson's defence KC Tony Graham and then Corrigan's lawyer Rhonda Anderson. Lord Mulholland told the jury he then hopes to start his legal directions before completing them on Tuesday. The judge said:"It should be that, if it all works out, there will be 30 minutes to do on the Tuesday morning."Gibson and Corrigan deny the charges.
