Lee Bonis has sealed a big move to ADO Den Haag who play in the second tier of Dutch football
Tomas Cosgrove joked that he already has a trip planned to the Netherlands to visit close pal Lee Bonis - even if the break will mostly involve a few beers instead of watching his former teammate in action.The deal was confirmed on Monday night, while Bonis conducted his first interview with the club on Tuesday morning.
"The Den Haag kit also looks good on him. He will be raging with the colours, the kit is like a wee Celtic kit! "We are absolutely delighted for Lee. We knew how much he wanted it and how hard he worked to achieve it. "Lee's work rate is something else, on top of the goals he scores. I think the Ballkani boys will be relieved he has gone because Lee doesn't give you a rest," he said ahead of Larne's Europa Conference League clash with FK Ballkani on Thursday."Lee might not be the most technical footballer but the work they will put in him there, he will only get better and better. The difference full-time football made to him here after he joined Larne from Portadown was massive.
