Organisers have now confirmed the timings of the flyover and shared an exclusive first look of the race map
More information has been revealed about when people will be able to see a Lancaster bomber flying over Greater Manchester in May.
Spectators will be able to see the famous Second World War bomber flyover Stockport town centre centre from the area covered on the race map, which includes St Peter's Square, Mersey Square, Stockport Plaza and the air raid shelters. There will be no racing between 1-2pm, allowing those in attendance to grab lunch and watch the flyover.
Teams, which includes Stockport Gin and Shopblocks, who have fashioned their kart to look like a Fred Perry Shoe, will have to make it down the 350-metre course by successfully navigating a number of chicanes, obstacles and water challenges. Competitors will also work their way through a knockout-style competition with only the fastest ten cars making it through to the final, which takes place from 4.30pm.
