.Selfridges’ Prada project aims to “bring circularity to life.”
LONDON — Prada will unveil the first, full Re-Nylon collection at the Corner Shop at Selfridges on Aug. 17, marking the British retailer’s new Project Earth sustainability initiative.
Econyl is obtained by regenerating plastic waste from oceans, fishing nets and textile fibers, which can be recycled infinitely with no loss of quality. Prada’s new space at the Corner Shop will feature short movies produced by National Geographic that will be displayed in sync on multiscreen large-scale arches.
