The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound State Route 51 off-ramps at Northern Avenue to be closed on the following dates for city of Phoenix pavement improvement work:Daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 and Wednesday, Aug. 31Lane restrictions also are planned along Northern Avenue near SR 51.: Drivers may consider using the SR 51 off-ramp at Glendale Avenue and using 16th Street to reach Northern Avenue.
