Temperatures could reach nearly 100 degrees and feel even hotter over the next three days in central Pennsylvania, forecasters said.

Hot temperatures and high humidity could lead to heat-related illnesses Thursday through Saturday, according to theForecasters said central Pennsylvanians should consider rescheduling strenuous outdoor activities for early morning or evening. Showers and storms could return to the midstate Thursday between 2 p.m. and midnight, bringing heavy rain and damaging winds, forecasters said. More than 20 mph winds are possible.
