The Border Force intercepted the haul, which was worth £3,000, on its way to his Bakersfield home
This is the face of the prolific criminal who has been jailed after attempting to get cannabis posted to him from the USA. Levi Ketagoda-Gamage led police to his address when they were informed by Border Force of the parcel, containing £3,000 worth of drugs, which was on its way to his Bakersfield home.
Officers then executed a search warrant at his home and found more cannabis, plastic dealer bags, weighing scales, other cannabis products and a burner phone. On the phone were messages which served as proof that he had been selling the products to other people. After being caught, however, the 22-year-old did not stop offending. Ketagoda-Gamage escaped prison just a month later in March 2022 for his involvement in an armed raid on Pepe's Piri Piri in Sneinton the day before it opened.
