The Huskies are coming off a big come-from-behind win over the visiting University of British Columbia Thunderbirds this past weekend in Saskatoon, where UBC prevailed in three straight sets on Friday before Saskatchewan battled back to win five-set games Saturday and Sunday that went to the limit.Article content
“Offensively, when you play some of these bigger serving teams, you need your pin attackers; they are the ones who are going to take a lot of the volume, and those guys did well last week,” noted McKay, “but kind of our middles stole the show in system, racking up some kills and doing it very efficiently.”Article content“I think we’re still continuing to improve and we still have decision-making to sharpen up on,” said McKay.
