More than 30 marched around the hotel and said they want to help but are struggling with the influx of people.
NEW YORK -- Dozens of faith leaders from across the city were rallying Wednesday outside The Roosevelt Hotel, calling for more resources and reforms to help asylum seekers. They said their houses or worship are simply overwhelmed.The Roosevelt has been operating as an arrival center for migrants during the crisis.The leaders came with a message similar to what Mayor Eric Adams has said numerous times.
