A family’s dream Disney holiday has been ‘ruined’ after their flight was cancelled ‘for no reason.’
Kelly Matthews had saved thousands of pounds to afford the trip for her and her son, nine-year-old Noah, and mother Mandy.
‘We tried to get on another flight but they were all fully booked; we tried to see if we could get to Paris from a different airport but it just wasn’t possible.’ But due to the cancellation, the family had to drive back home to Wales with their dream holiday in ruins.Kelly, 35, has since heard that easyJet cancelled the flight at such short notice due to ‘crew issues’.
Meanwhile, she’s also lost the money from their accommodation in Paris, as the hotel maintains their failure to arrive wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
