The family of Kealon Gilmore say they are one step closer to finding justice for Kealon, after Dallas PD announced the arrest of two men on Wednesday.

A Dallas PD press release states Astonial Calhoun, 25, and Devojiea Givens, 26, started firing into the crowd of event goers after a fight broke out.Kealon’s younger brother, Kendall, was standing by Kealon when he was shot. “I really don’t know what happened. I just know there was a lot of shooting,” Kendell Gilmore said in a Thursday afternoon press conference.
In spite of the loss of a son, brother and father, Shalonda says the family has stayed strong with the help of family and friends.
