Troy & Madison's History Has Already Caused Havoc In Season 8 Troy was believed to have died in Fear the Walking Dead season 3 after Madison attacked him with a hammer. However, the second half of Fear the Walking Dead season 8 confirmed that Troy survived. He seems especially interested in tormenting Madison because Troy carries the scars of what Madison did to him. There's damage done to his eye, which he hides behind a pair of sunglasses.
