... [+]U.S. federal investigators have announced a probe into Sunday’s fatal car crash in that involved a Tesla car with a semi-autonomous driver-assistance system.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will look into the crash, in which a 2016 Model S, while the Tesla driver and a passenger were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, it’s unclear whether Tesla’s Autopilot driver assistance system was being used at the time of the collision.
