Houston temperatures could rise to 100 on first day of fall
Temperatures will near 100 degrees on Thursday in Houston area, according to the National Weather Service in League CityThe autumnal equinox will occur this Thursday, Sept. 22, and"It's the first day of fall coming up, but we're going to be flirting with the triple digits," said Tim Cady, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in League City.
"This is going to be an ever-present feature for the duration of the week," Cady said."It's not going to really feel like fall."
