Luis Rubiales has been barred from contacting Jenni Hermoso after she said she came under pressure to defend him
Spanish FA boss Luis Rubiales has been suspended from ‘all football-related activities’ by international footballing body Fifa for 90 days as a result of his behaviour surrounding the women’s World Cup.following her country’s victory in the final over England.
Mr Rubiales has refused to step down despite being urged to by numerous commentators including Spain’s deputy Prime Minister. Mr Rubiales grabbed Ms Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during an awards ceremony following Spain’s 1-0 victory over England The statement adds: “Fifa reiterates its absolute commitment to respect the integrity of all persons and therefore condemns with the utmost vigour any behaviour to the contrary.”
